Same ole thing where the "old row" is ranked by an "old row" member over "new row" houses. The fact is that some of the "new row" houses are now top and upper middle in recruitment stats. But, Alabama state is a closed society and the culture does not accept change very well. It does not matter what the actual recruitment stats are - the "old row" houses will always be cited as the top houses at UA by the old lady establishment. This is what the old ladies know and it validates their lives. They think it matters to their small Alabama social circles what sorority they were in 20 years ago. See the alum posting on another thread about high school reputations of some of the pnms as a reason that "old row" houses dropped them? What? So apparently mistakes made as a 15 year old follow you to college in Alabama? Does anyone want to be in a group like that? So judgmental! Bottom line is that rankings on this site have no reality in basis to recruitment stats or to the actual popularity of the groups on campus.
