So I do not go to alabama but i am in a sorority at a smaller school (didnt want to post on my schools page...) My school does spring recruitment and I joined last january (rushed as a 2nd yr), my sorority is what, if this even matters, a "middle" or "top" sorority that girls rarely drop from/ is a popular sought after choice. I got a bid as my second pic (my 2nd choice ALL year but i still liked them a lot) but after I got in I've been having a really tough time. The girls in my pledge class aren't super inclusive and as many times as I've tried with them its been 8 months and i feel like I don't know anyone. My big and I don't have much in common and she's not involved at all. I have tons of friends in other sororities on campus, and i hate to even say this, but joining a sorority has really taken time away from investing in those friendships and has hurt me academically. I hate to pay for something that I feel as if it isn't bringing me much joy. I want to make people happy by staying in, but i just feel left out, and I've talked to other people about it and they haven't offered much advice. If anyone has had a similar experience id love to hear what you did about it! Thanks
