All houses are open to girls from all states. Girls aren't cut because of what state they're from. :)) They are cut based upon opinion of your grades, HS involvement, looks, clothes, conversation skills, and if you mesh. Really, only in-state girls face being cut by what high school they went to. For out of state, it doesn't matter as much; even for those houses that cut in-state girls. Connecticut is seen as a "desirable" state (classy, well-educated, semi-conservative in dress) so I doubt you'd have trouble anywhere unless you happened to know another girl from there that hated you.
