I have seen it countless times, it is not the sorority that is taking stands on who girls can date but some members that take perception and image way to seriously. They tell their little sisters who they can date and who they can't date, which of course this circulates and becomes fact by many. I know this from first hand experience. I had one date tell me her big sister told her not to go out with me because I was not in one of the fraternities her big sister said was ok to be involved with regardless that we swapped with them and had several members dating members of the sorority. Sadly, just like every tier poster on this site, there are way too many insecure people who require the approval of others.
