it sounds like the in-state girls want to carve out their own little groups and isolate themselves. not going to happen. it is good for the university and for everyone involved that there be diversity within each house. if I were from Alabama I would embrace being sisters with a girl from Colorado, New Jersey, and Ohio. This is a good thing. Open your mind. Also, based on what I see the Alabama girls wearing, I think the assumption in the OP that Alabama girls are more prim and proper (and less "tanned") is not accurate.
