It is none of their business. It's no more appropriate for them to ask where else you are going than it is for you to ask them where they are going to put you on their bid list. Think up a diplomatic response if someone does ask, such as "I am so thrilled to be here! I have had such a good feeling about your chapter this whole week, and am so grateful to be here. This is where I want to be." Something like that should diffuse it. If she persists then tell her what you feel most comfortable with; I am only attending your pref party or I don't feel comfortable to say. Good luck!
