Ok, let's get off the freak out train. It is hard for us to really give you advice since we can't see your resume or meet you in person. But here are some thoughts: 1. Being naturally pretty is not as important as being put together. Even the top houses have plenty of average looking girls that do A LOT with what they have. Look closely and you will see they are far from beauty queens but they are incredibly well put together. Do a great job with your make up. If you are missing these skills enlist some help from someone who has them ( you can even offer to pay them, and ask around many freelance as makeup artists. Bring touch up tools such as botting papers, lipstick, a mirror. 2. Do a great job with your hair in a style that will go the distance 3. Smile. A lot 4. Not too late to re evaluate your wardrobe choices. If you can, go buy a few really cute things. Make sure they are flattering and I tend to remember PMNs in a solid color with accessories that pop. Like a turquoise dress with a pink tassel necklace. Fit and flair is universally flattering and comfortable 5. Truth is, I am about a 7 (on a good day). I know this. Very self aware. I also do a lot with what I have. Understanding the tier system helped me (which is why I hate people saying to ignore it completely.). I dropped a couple of houses immediately that I knew would invite me back, maybe even all the way to Prefs, but would not offer me a bid. I just didn't bother with them.
