It all depends. I know some SNUs and I think their dues are about $3.8k, and I know some DKEs and SAES whose dues are over $5k. This is per semester. Also, as a pledge you WILL spend at least $1000 on pledge uniforms, gas for DDing, and paying extra for parties. I am an active in a bigger new row house and it can get quite expensive if you feel the pressure to go out alot. There are ways to make it cheaper, but a couple nights or afternoons at innisfree can add up fast. If you're tight with money but can afford dues I'd still say go for it, but stick to 4lokos and pregame hard for the bars. Buy stuff from thrift stores or older actives.
