IMHO that dress is a little frunpy. I dont' think a little beading is over the top. Overall sequins, yes - too much. But really, relax. By the time you are in a pref party, you're on their pledge list - it's just a matter of where you're ranked and how your ranking matches with theirs. They're telling you - "we want you - and if we don't like your taste, we'll work with you to fix it."
