It's that time of year....the rumors start to go 'round...ChiO only takes a 3.8 or above, AXO only takes 3.9 or above, APhi doesn't care about grades, only if you're hot...and it's all total garbage. HOWEVER... If you have under a 3.0, you had better have something else going for you, like an ultra-strong legacy status, or a statewide beauty title, or a MacArthur genius grant... If you have a 3.2 or under, yes you'll get released by a lot of houses but hang in there, you'll probably pledge if you're not a total drip. If you have a 3.5 or under, only a few houses will put you on their second list because of that. If you have a 3.9 or above, the gates of heaven are wide open for you.
