I'm also from a big southern city. What do you mean by "more open mind?" I thought that people in big cities were supposed to be more open-minded and those from smaller southern towns were close minded. I'm also from Houston and while I'd say we have some Southern culture, it's nothing like Alabama/Mississippi intense. Would I still feel out of place in an Alabama-centered sorority?
