Yeah but what's she gonna say? In my opinion it would be just as odd for her to walk into every house for three days straight and say "sorry I'm not wearing heels, I broke my ankle in December." Like as an active if I heard that (as someone who has also broken their ankle) I would wonder why after nine months she couldn't wear heels. The original commenter wore heels after three months.
