Subject:
O Week Guide for Freshman Males

Poster Message:
Want to give a little guide to freshman about how to go about navigating O week Starting around Tuesday, most frats with annexes on Eddy Street begin throwing nightly parties. This is one of the best times to check out the vibes of different houses and see if you like the guys. Try to actually talk to some brothers and maybe even get their contact. The lower tier houses are usually completely open parties and anyone can come and go. More middle to higher tier houses like ChiPsi, DX, SigPi and ZBT also have good O week parties but it may take some conversations at the door, coming with girls, or knowing someone to get in. If you are pretty normal/cool tho, you should be fine. As for the top houses, namely Sigchi, Sigphi and AD, you probably aren’t getting in to their parties unless you’re already really tight/family with active brothers or come with a mob of girls. I wouldn’t get discouraged tho, that’s just how these guys operate. Remember, don’t be pushy with brothers at the door. The parties are for them to have fun and they don’t necessarily want their parties littered with freshman. Always be gracious if you are let in and just meet some brothers and have a good time. O week is awesome, and you only get one freshman one. Enjoy!
