I’m a soph and I’m not in a sorority; all my friends rushed except me though. For me, a couple of my friends ended up dropping before pref so I wasn’t alone, and most importantly, had people to live with next year. Honestly, if all your friends rushed your #1 priority rn should be figuring out who you’re gonna live with next year. Your friends can get you into parties and whatnot with them pretty easily, but obviously you won’t be living in the houses and living alone/without friends sucks. But as for parties, like I said, if you’re fairly close with your friends who did join they can usually get you into places with them pretty easily.
