In one of the strata above and am white but poor and only afforded Cornell due to scholarships and grants. I have to miss chapter events sometimes due to my job but a lot of other girls are in the same boat and understanding. I can’t speak for POC but my friends who are POC have all said they love our house. I tried to avoid certain houses b/c I would’ve felt left out due to not being rich and glad I didn’t join them. Go where you feel comfortable.
