just because cornell has a lot of wealthy students, you'll still find plenty of greenwich/westchester kids and prep-school kids in mid-houses. But none of the mid-houses are particularly "preppy" (at least not compared to a house like SigPhi)- i guess your best bet would be PhiTau which has a "soft northeast suburban boy" vibe like DX.
