Glad I did it. I made a great friend group. Sorority recruitment was really hellish and annoying for me, because it seemed like I had no judgment of when a conversation went “well” and when it didn’t. It’s a flawed process, really a matter of how quickly you can sell yourself rather than any other conventional measures you might think matter. Other people that are more naturally outgoing probably had an easier time. “Trusting” the process is something you’re told to make the process more bearable, but there’s nothing particularly good about it until it’s over. I dislike the vast majority of my former sorority. Kind of annoying or overly basic for my taste. You’re probably not going to be close with your entire sorority and honestly... don’t try to be. It’s exhausting and not worth it. Find your group By junior year it Got old so I deactivated but it was fun.
