Legit every post on here takes like the top 10-15 frats for their rankings and ignores the rest. There's 30-something frats on campus, sure some are outright irrelevant, as in they don't throw down, dont mix, absolutely no presence on campus etc, but most of them are pretty involved, throw fairly often compared to the rest of greeklife, have a mixing schedule, and take fall/spring classes, albeit smaller ones, proportional to the size of their houses. DTD, Rockledge, AEPi, Phi Delt, TKE are some of the more notable ones. Upside of going to one of these for a night out- higher chance you'll get in even if you don't "know someone one the inside", easier to bring a slightly bigger group (not excessive amounts of people though, dont show up with an entire low-rise) brothers are more chill and usually (mostly) a little easier to talk to/hang out with, pretty similar vibe to some of the bigger frats' parties, if you're not going simply for the status of saying where you went that weekend. Some have afters post-party as well. If you rush them you're more likely to get a bid and not stuck out clamoring for a late rush frat 2 weeks into the semester, and with a smaller frat it's easier to get to know more of the brothers, instead of trying to learn and remember 70-something people's names off the cuff. This has been a PSA from someone who enjoys going to these guys, and doesnt like seeing GR completely ignore their existence. Thank you, don't forget to like and subscribe.
