So chapters not at total after formal recruitment can give out more bids (I think this is for only a short amount of time after recruitment and then they wait until spring.) COB is very informal and a lot more relaxed. You’ll do things like going to brunch or crafting at the house and they’ll just talk to you like normal to get a feel of if you’d fit in the chapter. If yes you’ll be offered a bid, join the new pledge class, and continue with pledging like everyone else. I personally recommend this if you want to try out a chapter. Think of it as a no strings free trial.
