Ok so to answer your question, if they ask you to pref and you go and sign your mraba after, you are guaranteed that house since it’s the only one you have. I get that you just faced a lot of rejection and it hurts. I encourage you to at least go to pref if you’re invited. This is blunt to say, but that house is the only one that has seen potential in you being one of their sisters. They want you. Instead of reflecting on those who didn’t, go to pref with an open mind and heart, truly try to get a sense of the values and sisterhood in that house, and truly consider them. And honestly, it doesn’t matter if you like their philanthropy or not. You’ll be participating in other philanthropic opportunities all year through Greek life and supporting other chapters. At the end of the day there are 300 girls in each house. You’re bound to find friends. You just have to decide what’s more important. Being Greek or risking not at all? You can risk trying again next year, but nothing is guaranteed. And once you graduate it doesn’t really matter what letters you were, just that you had them.
