Typically when toxic people say that, they’re referring to any number of things that don’t fit the “stereotypical basic white girl” image. Importantly, I’m NOT agreeing with this type of judgement AT ALL, just trying to spell out what people really mean when they code girls as “weird” “Weird” in this context generally refers to girls who meet at least one of the following criteria: - overweight - doesn’t wear makeup or follow current fashion trends; puts less effort into looking cute - less conventionally attractive against the stereotypical basic sorority girl look - neurodivergent (you’d be VERY surprised at how many UGA students, including sorority girls, are diagnosed with autism, adhd, anxiety disorders, eating disorders etc… or otherwise identify as having a physical or mental disability) - lgbtq, trans, nonbinary etc… - introverted, not interested in being “fun” around frat boys - “nerdy” majors like math, engineering, cs etc… or even just outwardly enthusiastic about academics, especially in traditionally male-dominated fields
