Great point about college not being high school. The place is way too big. If you join a "lower tier" srat once you get into it and are enjoying it you will not care what others think. Because you won't be hanging around the other people who think they are better for being in an "upper tier" srat. There opinion will not be relevant to you. Any girls you do hang out with from other srats will not care. They will identify with you more because you are in srat than if you weren't. The ranking really does get over blown and cause far too much drama considering once you settle in the rankings become irrelevant.
