This was my experience for sure! I was disappointed when I got a bid to a house that definitely doesn’t have the best reputation AND I had a cliquey, mean pledge class that had a very clear popular group that I wasn’t part of by any means. I was going to drop over the summer before sophomore year until my big convinced me to give it one more semester, then I ended up getting the most amazing little and made a bunch of friends in her pledge class which completely changed my experience with my sorority. Im a senior now and still don’t like my own pledge class, but it hasn’t defined my sorority experience, and I’m so glad I stuck with it instead of dropping. Wherever you end up, in any group of 200+ girls, you can definitely find your people and have a great experience if you keep an open mind
