If rushees should remember one thing it is this: if you join a top 5 sorority (Tri Delt, Pi Phi, Chi O, Theta, Kappa) you will have amazing alumni connections not on in Texas but also across the nation (maybe a little less for ddd). These sororities go after rushees with beauty, brains, money, personality and status. If you don't have someone pushing for you, it is likely you won't get in. I would be proud to wear any top 5 sorority shirt on campus. If you don't get into the top 5 the next acceptable ones are Zeta and DG.
