At 26, you are not likely to receive a bid from any chapter. I’m not trying to be negative but you are facing a tremendous uphill battle for a bid. You’re going to be 8 years older than most of your pledge class and 4-5 years older than the exec board. Other than being a college student, you’ll have very little in common socially/ emotionally with the actives and other pledges. I know you feel like you missed out on a traditional college experience and joining a sorority, but just think about how much you’ve grown and changed since you graduated high school. I don’t think you would make many close friends in any house being that much older. A&M is a pretty traditional campus as far as Greek Life, it’s not like UT-Arlington or some other small branch schools that might be open to non-traditional members. Sorry, probably not the answer you were wanting....
