And to add: TAMU has a history of being a military college with the Corps which hindered/stunted the growth of Greek life here (or at least the frats). For example, there’s a “Fraternity Row” street not too far from campus but only 2 houses (SigChi & another that Sammy just got from SigNu), because a rich Corps alum bought up land all around those 2 back in the day to stop the creation of a frat row, and now all the other frats houses are scattered all around town.
