I've never heard of someone from Highland Park passing over "higher tiered" chapters to be a Theta at A&M. We do not have that competitive of recruitment here. If someone is from Highland Park then they will almost have a guaranteed spot in Kappa or Pi Phi. They would even go Tridelt or XO before Theta, let's be honest here. A Highland Park Theta legacy would rather go to SMU to get her legacy chapter than go to A&M.
