Pledgeship: Not has haze-y as fraternities, So that means the guys aren't going to be hanging out as much together and you won't have the national connection as you would with a fraternity. No parties, which is a lot of where the pledge class bonding experience comes from. Members: Ol Aga > AMC > BYX >> BCA. I'm pretty sure the first 3 are A&M only but BCA takes Blinn. Some years, Ol Ags and AMC will have Yell Leaders and a few of the latest SGA presidents have been BYX. Usually the first two require one to have a lot of on-campus activities to join. Perceived (by sorority girls). KA/Fiji > OA/AMC > SAE > BYX = Beta = Delt > Sigma Chi = BCA > Pike. If it's a more academic sorority, move BYX up to SAE level, if it's a more social sorority, move SAE up to OA/AMC level. In general, fraternity guys are going to crap VERY hard on men's orga and Christian groups (for obvious reasons) whereas girls see them very well. On campus perception is pretty positive as well. The kinds of campus activities you see the top groups do will have lots of XOs, Thetas, some Kappas. The more Christian bit of TriDelt still loves BYX. Zetas don't care that much, DGs love everybody, Pi Phis are Beta groupies and Fiji/KA if they can get it, Theta loves every Christian group, everyone else is generally in the "more social" category.
