Not trying to comment on your grades or hurt your feelings at all. All I was saying is that recruitment as a sophomore is way harder and your college grades will need to be perfect. Your first choice did like you because you made it to pref. You were on their bid list but it was filled before your name was called, that's all. They may have had more legacies, or friends going thru. It's hard and I'm so sorry you are sad and hurting tonight. You have been invited to join a sorority that has hundreds of members and you have several weeks to decide. It's your decision but there is no reason to make it immediately. Go, meet your pledge class and see if you can make some connections. You have nothing to lose by staying but you have a lot to lose by quitting too soon and regretting your decision later. Good luck!
