Yup you heard it right folks! Obviously escaping the United States under the espionage act was a horrible move. But getting possibly extradited to the United States or affiliated countries was a huge risk to him. The FSB approached Snowden and eventually granted him Asylum in regards to secrets of the US gov and communication systems aka the NSA network. Now this is horrible as this could lead to bad actors and more espionage uses. Well the truth is he did leak info to the FSB and that is a fact. Now you know the truth. Russia is now using him as a bargaining chip with the United States when it comes to US Russia relations. Now that Trump is in office and Putin is collaborating fully with Trump, he will most likely be pardoned and sent back home finally. A long unnecessary battle has been circumvented finally with improved US Russia relations. No more stupidity finally or dealing with leaks or NSA network hassles. Anyways the systems have evolved with higher tech data collection methods with AI, Anduril, and Palantir. So if you are up to no good, guess what? The CIA and NSA will end you simply.
