This is likely your final opportunity for greek life. MANY girls have this same experience. Fact is.... you can grow to love your new sisters. If you want to improve the "image" of your new chapter, then be a leader and make the chapter the best it can be. Getting your second choice did not mean you were not worthy of a bid....others were simply ahead of you on the bid list. Thankfully, your new sisters saw something in you that put you high on their bid list. I understand mourning the loss of what could have been; however, let that go and focus on what you do have..... new sisters who wanted you! Give them the same opportunity they have shown you. The VAST majority of women who have this experience end up loving their new chapter.
