The truth is that total is the average size of the houses -- approximately half will be over total and half under total. At OU where all the houses made quota, it is impossible that a house could ever be dramatically over the other houses in numbers. Most of the houses are around 80x4=320. While there is one house that loses quite a few girls because they drop out, the others have good retention and most of the top houses take a few quota additions too. (Example is Kappa. Quota was 80, they took 85.) Those houses will be above total even if they have girls that graduate early or go to do programs at the health science center in OKC. House totals are not public record like you said. I don't know Chi O's numbers, but if Chi O took only quota (which is all they could take with snap bids) then they might be exactly at total if they didn't lose any girls at all. I don't know if they've lost any or not but they may be under total. It's all speculative, of course, but it goes to show that the original post is correct. Spring recruiting has nothing to do with campus reputation UNLESS it is because of a retention problem like the one house. By the way, before you start handing out legal advice, you'd better go to law school. Your "warning" is laughable at best and absolutely jackass stupid at worst.
