My advice to all PNM's ... GO INTO RECRUITMENT WITH AN OPEN MIND. I know, you probably have heard it before. Even though you might have convinced yourself you are destined to be in one of the 3 sororities you have been stalking on Instagram for the past few months, there is a huge chance that they weren't the ones meant for you. You can't decide where you "think" you will fit in best based off of Instagram pictures that were intentionally picked to look appealing to PNM's like you. I will never forget what it was like to sit in my dorm with a huge group of girls on my floor attempting to debunk all of the rumors we had heard about each house. What I really learned in the end, NONE of it matters! It's not gonna make you jealous (maybe a little) that your friend got into the sorority that you really wanted, when she's complaining about how it really isn't what she thought it was gonna be. What actually might make you jealous is the girl in the sorority you didn't care for, who made incredible bonds, feels comfortable walking into the house and is spending the entire summer getting together with her sisters. In the end, this is your decision. Every house at OU is a good house.
