I think all our houses are great and I have friends in lots of them including G Phi and Chi O. As far as knowing about houses, Chi O is probably bigger, but G Phi may be more prestigious because they're older and an original member of panhellenic which Chi O is not. I just know from my RhoG group during recruitment which houses girls wanted most and that's where there is not comparison between the houses. I am in a different house but I had G Phi as one of my pref houses and I cut Chi O after the 2nd day (not open houses but the day after they were done). Chi O to me was not as impressive. I'm sure that Chi O cut some girls but I don't personally know any of them :) so I don't know where they would have gone. I myself didn't get cut by any houses which was kind of a miracle :) but girls that got cut by any of the top houses listed cried and I mean Kappa, Pi Phi and the ones I had for pref.
