We aren't trying to be mean. We want as many girls to go through rush as possible. If you are interested in being in a sorority at all, rush! But chances are, your sorority won't help your political career. It might. But that's not the only reason you should join one. You join it for the friendships, the experiments, and the good times. Yes there are leadership opportunities and being in a sorority makes it a lot easier to run for any student body office. But if you are still iffy on joining a sorority halfway through rush week, drop completely. DO NOT wait until bid day to decide "oh I got a bid to a great house but this sorority thing isn't for me." Some girl that really wanted that house could've been accepting the bid that you are turning down
