Honestly it would be better to just delete all your pictures of you with actives. They certainly will understand. However, it sounds like you are probably from Mississippi or Memphis or someplace where you have lots of friends already attending ole miss. In situations like yours, it won't matter so much as it would with someone how has less connections.
