A Rec (recommendation) is a form that alumni will fill you. It answers very specific questions about a pnm, most of which is already found on a résumé. One rec form is basically all you need. If you want to really stand out, you will have ladies write letters of support. These letters are much more personal and are typed or handwritten on the senders personal stationary. They usually are gushing and paint the pnm as a perfect candidate for their sorority. The letter of support writers will send their letters to your rec writer and the rec writer will attach them to her rec before she sends them to the chapter. It's up to you to let the support writer know where to send the letter. (To the rec writer).
