It's really easy. There are literally alumni everywhere! My dad had a coworker who was an ole miss alumni. He introduced me to his niece who was a Tri Delt. I went up and stayed with his niece in the spring. My moms best friend had a sister who was a chi o at ole miss. She introduced me to actives and I had lunch with them while I was up visiting in the spring with the Tri delts. The lady who helped me put together my rush packets was a KD. I took a second trip to Oxford after she introduced me to girls in KD. All three if these connections introduced me to ladies in other sororities. I met a few phi mus and an aopi. My cousins neighbor who attended ole miss wrote my KD rec. it's so easy! Ole miss alumni are everywhere! And so happy to help! It's called networking and it works! I live two states away and the distance never stopped me. You just have to start putting your feelers out. It also helps if your parents do the same! Leave no stone unturned.
