There will be houses that wont want you once they hear the word "Indiana/Illinois/Missouri" etc. Mainly tri delt, chi o, and kd. There are a few exceptions, but I honestly would not count on it unless you have connections to the house and fit in perfectly. Kappa, phi mu, aopi, and pi phi are all amazing with tons of out of state and Midwestern girls. Even dg has started to realize how awesome us northerners are and they've begun breaking the "strictly southern" mold. I'll be honest, it's hard coming here from the north and only knowing a few people. Just make sure you get all of your recs and put your best face forward and you will find the right house that loves you as much as you love them.
