Pnm's should not pay attention to ranks and tiers. All chapters at Ole Miss are great. They are just different flavors for different girls. The terms 'low' or 'bottom' do not equate in the least to the quality of the members or the strength of the sisterhood or the social experience. Any bid at Ole Miss is an accomplishment and offers an exceptional experience. A pnm with an excellent GPA and resume will get a bid. She might not get the sorority she was after at first, but she will get a bid. The vast majority of pnm's who don't get a bid make the intentional decision to drop out of rush. They do this because they get their heart set on a certain house or houses, and when those don't ask them back they let emotions get the better of them instead of focusing on the houses that actually want them. The sororities do the choosing and pnm's need to keep an open mind. It is far easier to get a bid as a freshman than at any other time. A pnm will have a good rush at Ole Miss if she can resist being influenced by so-called tiers and ranks, keep an open mind to the chapters that are asking her back, and refrain from comparing her rush to any other pnm's.
