I’m a PNM so I’m not an insider. I do feel bad for the candidate who was disqualified after she actually won the election. I saw a picture of the card attached to the flowers that were sent by DG to all of the sororities and it didn’t have any candidate’s name on it. It was just wishing everyone a great recruitment week and reminding everyone to vote. It didn’t say to vote for a specific candidate, so I saw nothing wrong with it. Also, the candidate had no knowledge of it apparently. What’s wrong with reminding people to vote in an election in order to increase voter participation no matter who you plan to vote for? I just heard KD was being catty about it and couldn’t take losing so they complained about it. That’s really unfortunate. The disqualified candidate definitely handled things with dignity. Not that I would get a bid from KD, but if that’s how they I operate, I wouldn’t fit in.
