Come to ole miss outright. If this is where you ultimately want to be, you get in, and can afford the tuition, just do it freshman year. Going elsewhere just for the purpose of taking a giant gamble on ole miss Greek life is really misguided advice. You will miss out on rush, bonding with your pledge class and a lot of other experiences that come with being Greek at ole miss your first yeae. Second, if you are coming to ole miss from out of state and no connections and not knowing anybody, I am going to go out on a limb and say that our "top" houses are not what you will like best. Top at ole miss is defined by history and network. So many of the girls in these wonderful houses have known each other for a really long time. Versus other wonderful houses on campus whose membership selection process isn't primarily driven by those connections. Bottom line - come to ole miss, go through rush, trust your gut, and find YOUR home. Not greekranks top tier home.
