First off, no chapter HAS to affiliate a member of their sorority who pledged somewhere else... the active members vote and it is likely you won't be affiliated especially if you pledge at another school where there is a big difference between chapter personalities. Do not use this tactic to get in a "top" sorority. Being a legacy of a sorority is not the only reason girls get into "top" sororities. I'd suggest you take the advice of Ummm above and NOT your aunt, she is clearly misinformed.
