They were probably crying because they were promised a bid. I know a couple of girls who were told by an active they were getting bids, but then were dropped. One of those girls dropped out completely, which is a shame because the girl who stuck it out and got what was said a bottom house has made new friends and is very happy now. They didn't even get a chance to "look" with an open mind at any of the other sororities because of their connection to this sorority. Also, when girls listen to tier talk and get "bottom tier" they think they are rejects. That is so far from the truth. Two of the bottom tiers are new and the other one has been improving every year. One sorority does not have to suck in order for another to be good or to be improving. When you throw stones at one sorority, you are giving a bad name to the entire greek system.
