I'm not just trying to make you feel better when I say this, but I know plenty of girls who haven't gotten their first choice and felt some disappointment, but they went on to really love their chapters and see that it was a great fit for them. I know one who was so upset that she almost didn't go to bid day, then her attitude was really sucky for the first few weeks and she planned to drop. I don't know who talked to her, but she stuck it out a little longer, found her place and now she's a junior, holds an office and says she one day wants to work for their nationals. Give it a chance. Things can and do get better.
