It is completely normal to experience some let down and/or disappointment after preference. It's ok. You just have to put it all in perspective. You did get a bid, so many women did not. Stick it out and get to know your pledge class, the are girls you will spend the most time with during your time in your chapter. Make the best of it, you are bound to that chapter for one year if you should drop. So I would take the time to really meet people and find out what your organization has to offer. Best wishes to you.
