Tridelt almost always cuts all sophomores after 22 party. It sucks, but it happens. If you're looking for a top tier house, they do not really take many sophomores, but they do take a few. I rushed as a sophomore and carried alpha phi, pi phi, and zeta all the way to 9 party. And I know a few girls that ended up with bids. If you're open to other houses, you're fine rushing as a sophomore! My 9 party also had DZ, AXO, Kappa, Gphi, Theta, and KD. And my 3 party was AXO, Kappa, and Pi Phi. Just keep your grades up, be involved on campus, and know how to talk to/connect with the girls and you'll be fine.
