To the kid talking about pledgeship, Pledgeship doesn't define how good a house is just look at beta, whose pledgeship isn't terrible, and you can look at phi sig and snu whose pledgeship goes toe to toe with any of the hardest ones like ato, sig chi and delta but phi sig and snu arnt anywhere near those housea, pledging does create brother hood, but it doesn't define how good a house is, in fact you can argue that it gets the best candidates possible for the house and I believe it benefited Ksig positively because they attracted to a wider range of kids.
