There is a LOT that goes into building a house before you see the construction. Yes, SAE and PhiPsi took a year from when you started seeing the construction. BEFORE construction can happen, there has to be plans/architects, permits from the city/county, construction bids to go out and be selected, etc. There is literally months/years of work before you even see construction begin. So, why is this important? I just don't want anyone tonight to not accept a bid from an unhoused sorority and think, "Well, I will just try for SK next year because they will have a house." It will not be completed before you graduate. So don't use the house as a deciding factor.
