I agree with the other person who responded to this. Also, consider that we don’t see your GPA until philo round when you hand us your white cards. We can’t see it during the open invite rounds (minus the recruitment chair who sees it from the beginning, but doesn’t share that information with the chapter bc it’s confidential). A lot of the time we don’t realize a pnm is below the gpa requirement before we meet them in person, so it’s not stringing along, just a lack of knowledge. And yes, we still like to get to know you as well regardless :)
